ID 80/ ID880 File

Post by MW0RUH on Sun Jan 30, 2011 12:17 pm

These files are interchangable between the handheld and mobile radios, the software will convert it to the format required for each of the radios automatically.

There are two files one for GB7CD and one ready for GB7RB.

I have had more time on these files so they should be more user friendly. Most digital memories have something like REF01A / B / C etc, followed by the letters of the callsign CD or RB or simplex nodes BA / LV or IS (for ISG). examples are REF05ALV, REF03CBA, REF09CIS, REF36BCD or REF14CRB the callsign letters will be smaller than the REF??? bit on the display.

The GB7RB File has CQCQCQRB and UNLINKRB on the two call channels and GB7CD has CQCQCQCD and UNLINKCD in it's file on the call channels.

Please check the unlink command on the call channel as it should read Unlink-U the CD one says UNLINKCD in the Your menu instead, you will need to correct this for it to work.

GB7CD's Linking command memories are on the A and B Banks, the simplex nodes (Most popular reflectors) are on S Bank, and GB7RB linking command Memories are on Y an Z Banks.

Please add Your Callsign to the file you choose before use.

Any problems with the files please let me know.

This file has been downloaded many times and installed to several radios that i know of, it is most likely to be an issue with your PC than the download, more than happy to assist via teamviewer if required.
